So on saturday we had that wonderful bbq on one of my good friends patio. It was a lot of fun, there was lots of food and laughs to be shared. I love the weather we're having, because I love being outside enjoying the weather. We don't get great weather here for many months so it feels like we have to soak up as much of it as we can when it's here.

This is what I wore to the BBQ/patio party, and I really love these colours together. The top is actually a romper but it's not quite warm enough for that, it's a great coral colour. And I love it with the polka dot blue skirt (which I'm still obsessed with) Feels like a great summer look to me! I can't wait for it to get even hotter, I really love the heat because I am always so cold. Also someone told me I looked like wonder woman in this outfit, sweet haha

PS. When Bryce was taking these pictures there were people on their balcony across the street yelling at us and being beligerant. Why is getting a few pictures taken a big deal?!

Best of the week & casual sundays

Howdy, this is what I wore today to take my younger brother and one of his friends to go see the hangover two. I figured I'd be nice and get the 16 year olds into an 18 + movie. I get along really well with my brothers, my older one is 6 years older and younger one is 5 years difference. And I kind of really like that dynamic, theres enough gap so we don't want to kill each other 24/7 (only 24/3). I grabbed some shorts with the nice weather, my super comfy pineapple blouse and my blazer. I swear this blazer is the best investment I ever made.

Howdy all, this is gunna be a quick one or else I shall be late for work!! I don't work tomorrow but have a ridiculously busy day of doctors appointments and other unfun things. But this weekend my friend is having a bbq so I hope the rain stops and we can enjoy sitting outside on the deck.
I wore this yesterday to work, this skirt I feel is really short, but with tights it doesn't feel so bad. And it was chilly so my button up chambray shirt was perfect top to keep me a little warmer. It's also a little more masculine and when mixed with this skirt I like the way that looks.
Oh, also, blogger isn't letting me comment? Anytime I sign and go to comment it signs me out again. Hmmm, I shall attempt on my dads computer and see if that helps. How frustrating I want to comment on everyones blogs! Hopefully it'll sort itself out

Navy & Lavender

Hello my dears, today I am feeling a bit under the weather, I think it's just allergies though. I shall sip some hot lemon ginger tea with honey in it and i'll be good as new I'm sure. Too bad I have to go back to work today, booo.
This is an outfit I wore few days ago. I recently rediscovered this dress in my wardrobe, it was sitting on a desk in my basement and I have no idea how it ended up there. I bought this dress for my birthday last summer, I absoutley love the light lavender colour and subtle shimmer threading in it. Lavender + navy just seemed like a natural colour combination on this day, and I like leaving this dress unbelted because of the unique waistline.
